"They aren't quite right yet."
This article needs some work, perhaps some cleanup or addition of data.

"What causes demons to endlessly proliferate on this island? Discovering that remains your sacred charge, my lady."

"The blade familiar of Takeribi who has raised Sakuna in her parents' stead. His true form is the Blade of Hoshidama, the strongest holy sword in the land. Unfortunately, this legendary blade was broken in half during the battle with the evil god Omizuchi, and Tama has been unable to perform his role as holy sword ever since.

In addition to being an invaluable source of wisdom and advice, Tama can also facilitate communication with the Mihashira Capital. Once you have reestablished relations with the capital, speak with Tama in the house to trade your rice for materials and other goods. After you have made a purchase, traded items will be deposited into your inventory the next day."[1][2]

Tama is Sakuna's guardian, and a god originally residing in Mihashira Capital in the Lofty Realm. He has a rational personality that errs on the side of caution, and he values decorum and pragmatism very highly. This can be the cause of disagreements between him and his charge on occasion, though they always come to an agreement in the end.

He often acts as the foil to Sakuna's often careless nature, and so the two balance each other out. His manner of speech can sometimes be old-fashioned. As the game progresses, Tama can act as the go-between between Sakuna and the capital, allowing her to conduct trade for valuable items in exchange for her rice.

Relationships[]

Sakuna: While Sakuna's chaotic nature can be the cause of aggrievance, especially for Tama, he values her presence greatly and still respects her just as much. They are prone to disagreeing over many a matter, though a solution is always worked out once all is said and done, and it is very rare for them to truly ever fall out, especially given that Tama raised her for much of her life.

Kokorowa: Tama and Kokorowa can relate to each other plenty over having to deal with Sakuna's fiery personality, and Tama respects her cool, level-headed air and respects her prowess as an inventor greatly. They are somewhat similar in their manner, and so they get along well.
