GoodSmile Announces Line of Sakuna Merchandise

Good Smile has announced the production of several items of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin merchandise for pre-order^[1]; the items were announced on the 30th of July, and will be available as advance items for sale at the GATAFES Vol. 12 (Niigata Anime/Manga Festival Vol. 12) held in Niigata in Japan from the 16th to the 17th of October 2021.

In addition, online preorders will be open from 12:00 JST on Friday the 30th July 2021 until 12:00 JST on Thursday the 26th August 2021. Scroll down or use the contents for more detail on each product:

POP UP PARADE Figure[]

The main feature is a POP UP PARADE of Sakuna^[2]:

Sakuna is shown here looking to the sky, and the figure stands approximately 160mm tall. It costs ¥3,900, includes a stand, and is a painted ABS&PVC non-scale complete product; it was sculpted by Magical Girl☆Haruyuki.^[3] Note that the figure shown here is a prototype, and the final product may differ, especially considering that the paintwork on the shown prototype was done by hand.

Rice Sack Backpack[]

The rice sack backpack is made out of kraft paper, polyester and cotton and is 50cm tall. When the top is rolled its dimensions are H40cm x W35cm x D15cm, and the backpack costs ¥13,200.^[4]

Rice Sack Pouch[]

The rice sack pouch is made out of kraft paper, polyester and cottom, and costs ¥1,650. Its dimensions are W330mm x H230mm^[5].

Rice Sack Tote Bag[]

The rice sack tote bag is made out of kraft paper, polyester and cotton, and its dimensions are 37 cm (Width) x 32 cm (Height) x 5 cm (Gusset)^[6]. It costs ¥4,400.
